Your health and safety is important to us and we have taken the following steps to prevent the spread of Covid-19:

We start each shift with a logged health assessment for everyone that works, owners included.  We are wearing masks in the kitchen, prep, server and dish areas. We wash or sanitize our hands in between each guest interaction.  Every time we touch your credit card or work with money, we wash our hands.  Every tray the your credit card has been on and every pen you use is sanitized in between each use. We sanitize door handles and tables frequently.  We have become very mindful of possible contamination. Hand sanitizer is available for you, as well as surface sanitizer and paper towels you are free to use while picking up your order.

We are only allowing one person in at a time to pick up orders.  We will be keeping these practices in place until further notice.

As many of you know, dining rooms are allowed to open on May 21st. We will NOT be opening our dining room on that date, and we are unsure of the exact date that we will allow dining room service. We agree that the economy needs to be reopened, but we never fully closed and your support has been AMAZING. Half of our team is in the high risk group and we will not put their lives at risk or just replace them. If one of our team members contracts Covid-19, we will have to close for at least 2 weeks to make sure no one else has gotten sick. We do not want to call our team back to work just to put them through the unemployment system again.

Even if we were to open the dining room, it wouldn’t be the same. We could only have 7 tables available and you would have to wait in your car for a table to open up. We are wearing masks and you won’t be able to see your server smile. There will be no salt and pepper shakers or bottles of ketchup, everything will be replaced by packets. Service will be slowed down by the amount of cleaning, sanitizing and hand washing needed to be safe. The whole dining experience you are used to is going to change at EVERY restaurant. All businesses are learning how to run their businesses again with these new systems in place and we appreciate your patience and understanding.

These times have been heartbreaking and stressful for all of us in such different ways. Some people are lonely and some can’t pay their bills. Everything takes longer. It’s hard to find some essential items and when you do, they are limited. But the amount of kindness and compassion available is up to us. So check on your neighbors and friends and help where you can. It’s up to us to spread light in these dark times.

We will continue to offer carryout and delivery in the same way we have been. Please call as early as possible to reserve your pick up time and there is only one person allowed in at a time. We will be here for you working and living as safely as we can. We know that some may not agree with our decision, but we do ask that you respect it.

Thank you so much for your support!
